One of the first oils produced was that of cedar. It is often used in aromatherapy for its ability to relieve tension and anxiety. Its active ingredients include Kederoll, a natural sedative, as well as its ability to stimulate serotonin production.
When inhaled, it has calming properties and aids in relaxation and meditation. Its therapeutic properties are also numerous, as it is analgesic, antiseptic, tonic and helps with infections, bronchitis and colds.
Gargling for Sore Throat: Add 2 drops of cedar essential oil to a cup of warm water.
Room aroma: add 10 drops of oil to 250 ml and spray the room. Leaves a distinctive woody aroma. Alternatively, we can lightly scent our curtains and sheets.
Botanical name: Cedrus atlantica
Avoid eye contact.
They should never be used insoluble or on sensitive or allergy-prone skin.
Discontinue use immediately if skin appears sensitive.
Do not use on irritated skin or scratches. Only for external use.
Do not use them indoors unless you have consulted a doctor, pharmacist or an experienced aromatherapist.
If you have a health problem, are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should contact your doctor first.
Some essential oils are unsuitable for children under the age of 12.
Avoid sun exposure after using citrus essential oils.
